Experienced System Engineer with a demonstrated history of driving innovation and success in the medical device industry. Recognized as a subject matter expert in system design, utilizing my background and knowledge in Risk Management, and Reliability. I have played a pivotal role in the development of groundbreaking projects, and being a champion for introducing Model-Based Design methodologies and new ways of working that have enabled faster development and prototyping.
My contributions include leading the detailed system design for a novel device for PD patients, resulting in key patents and the foundation for a competitive advantage for Baxter. My expertise extends to driving technical decisions, implementing model-based design methodologies, fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams, and enhancing project speed and effectiveness.
With a master’s degree in industrial engineering and management and a background in Risk Management and Reliability, I bring a unique blend of technical know-how, strategic planning, and critical thinking to every project. Complemented by my leadership experience in the Swedish Armed Forces, I excel in dynamic environments, ensuring success in challenging situations. My commitment to continuous learning and my proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow and other engineering tools make me a valuable asset in driving future innovations and achieving organizational goals.

Senior Principal System Engineer
Working as the inventor and vice system lead designer, both from a software, hardware, and control point of view of a new product development project. My experience in both risk management and reliability in combination with my role in the projects makes me a subject matter expert in critical cross-functional teams like Risk Analysis, Use Related Risk Analysis (URRA), FMEA and other technical decision meetings.
Risk Management
Worked with Risk Management for both medical devices and electric grid systems for larger projects. Building Fault tree analysis (FTA) of complex systems. Responsible for setting up, planning and performing reliability demonstration tests. The task included building, developing, and programming test fixtures, and automatization the test procedure.
Rapid Prototyping
Worked with a team to develop, implement and promote what has come to be the new Rapid Prototyping Platform based on Model-Based Design with the MathWorks suite of tools. Enable a faster concept generation and more refined exploratory phase in the early development process.
